The history of K.C Central Taxis
Many will probably not remember two separate companies of K.C cars and Central taxis. They merged together to become what we know today as K.C Central Taxis.
K.C Central became one of the leading taxi companies in Long Eaton and surrounding area’s.
For many years K.C Central operated alone but in recent years the taxi trade was seeing a big shift in the market especially with the introduction of modern computerised data systems capable of running hundreds of cars from one centralised system.
It was in August 2014 when K.C Central Taxis previous owners made the decision to sell K.C Central Taxis to Near-N-Far Taxis who are the largest taxi company in the Erewash borough.
Near-N-Far quickly invested a large amount of money into K.c Central taxis, modernising the current office at 27 Beaconsfield Street and installing one of the market leading data dispatch computer systems in all vehicles.
K.C Central Taxis are now fully equipped to handle large volumes and provide a taxi service that is second to none.
